My own photographs, mostly of Irish tower houses, taken in the 1980s and early 1990s. They have been scanned and posted here county by county.

In all, 254 tower houses and castles were visited & documented.

The text, accompanying the photographs, is generally drawn from my notes, which were handwritten on site, in an old notebook.
