Newcastle Lyons Castle, County Dublin, visited in 1988. A sad relic of the 6 tower houses that existed here in the sixteenth century. They are believed to have stood in the rectory grounds and in a field amongst the village houses. Note the well made hand forged gate adjoining the remains
