Moyneard Castle, County Tipperary, in May 1987.
A fine stump of a castle with a tricolour flying from one of the windows.
Good base batter and grassy roof to vault. It appears to have been built on a raised earthen platform. Remains of ringfort outside what may have been a bawn.
In ruins, circa 1840, on OS maps.
