Gallarus Castle, Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, in August 1986. There was a vault over the third floor, but it was very damp then. A murder hole was seen over the entrance lobby. It had received some maintence at that time.
The only access to the ground floor was achieved by squeezing through a loop.
Older photograph from March 1979.
