Carrigogunnell Castle, County Limerick, in March 1992.
No notes were taken as it is a National Monument and should be well documented. Dramatic location near the Shannon River. 14th & 15th centuries. Two towers and an enclosure fortify the rock. In dilapidated condition, presumably because it was attacked after the siege of Limerick in 1691.
