St. Brendan’s House, Co. Kerry

St. Brendan’s House, Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, in August 1986. It was most likely a priest’s house and probably does not really fit in here. However, it is included because of its early date and because it has certain medieval features that appear in tower houses and castles, such as base batter.
The OPW sign appears to have been removed and the ground has since been raised in front of the building.
